The Camden Witnesses to Hunger Exhibit was the focus of an article on hunger and poverty, as part of the In Plain Sight series, a special initiative by NBC News to report on poverty in America.


Dr. Mariana Chilton was quoted in a Philadelphia Inquirer article about the Census Bureau's release of 2012 the American Community Survey's poverty data.


Last week the Philadelphia Inquirer did a story about the Witnesses to Hunger Exhibit in Camden, New Jersey.


Philadelphia, September 17, 2013 - The Census Bureau released new data today on income, poverty, and health insurance for 2012.  While there is little change in the rates of poverty from 2011 statistics, the lack of change continues to shows us that the poor are not recovering from the recession.
