Emily Edwards is the mother of one son, Bobby Adonijah. She moved to Philadelphia at the age of nine, after losing her sister to AIDS. She has faced a lot of challenges in her life, from being raped and abused, to being homeless and hungry. Through Witnesses, Emily found a love and purpose in helping others and discovered that she is someone important. Today, Emily voices her story to let her words be heard and to help others. She also is a strong advocate for STD and AIDS awareness, in honor of her sister.
