Miracle B.

Active 2014-Present

Miracle B. loves people. When she goes to the food pantries and the mobile pantry, she shares any extra food that she receives with her neighbors. She enjoys being involved with the Food Assistance Working Group, because it is a way to get out of the box of her neighborhood. By being involved, she knows that she is not only helping herself, but helping others in a significant way. As she points out, “everyone is struggling” in her neighborhood.

Miracle moved to New Haven in 1998, and she loves living here. She feels that New Haven has a lot of great things to offer, and she enjoys staying involved in her community by attending neighborhood meetings. She takes care of her dad, who is “85 years young”. She loves to listen to her favorite music and cook. Her specialty is fruit pie.
