Shelly is a 31 year-old mother of 5 children: four boys and one girl. Shelly had a rough life growing up, in which she witnessed abuse and the death of a close friend. Shelly received her high school diploma, however, because of an unpaid school loan, she has not been able to continue her schooling. She hopes to eventually own and manage a successful hair salon.
